I am looking for a Matthew E. Conlin who married a Jane Fletcher. According to her obituary she was born in Scotland and died in Cleveland 24Apr1916. They apparently had 7 sons and 3 daughters. I'm assuming that there are probably descendants still living in the Cleveland area. If you are a descendant to Matthew and Jane I would love to hear from you.
John COnlin, Sandgate, VT. Maude Conlin, Malta, Illinois. My Father was Raymond W. Conlin, and I jr., but dropped it after his death. My son was also III, but he went by R. WIlliam Conlin, Jr. (He died 13 months ago) I was born and raised in Oak Park, Illinois.
What are the names of your grandparents and great grandparents? Oddly enough I have a Raymond W. Conlin in my information. Could be a family name I suppose. Talk to you later. Dan >From: "Raymond W. I am looking for information on a Matthew Conlin b. Ireland from LeRoy, Genessee County, NY. On the 1860 census both he and his wife are listed as 30 w/ 3 children Michael, Matthew, and William. Also, there is a mispelling of the name on the census it is spelled Canlen there. However, the dates, names, and approximate birthdays all match up with those at the family plot. If anyone is out there who can help me I would greatly appreciate it. I know my maternal Grandfather was from Detroit and his parents owned some sort of store. There was a fire and his Mother died. His Father's lungs were so damaged that they moved to Ann Arbor, Michigan. There is a travel agency in Ann Arbor called Conlin, but I don't know if there is any relation. I have no idea what happened before or after that - outside my own close family.

I am searching for information on a Joseph Conlin from New York. He was possibly married to Audrey (Haverly or Dane). Audrey had two children Charles Joseph Conlin and (my mother) Irma Marie Conlin (born Nov. 1913 in Clarksberg, W.V.) Both Charles and Irma were in Vaudville entertainment. Dane was their show name. Irma was later in the Ziegfield Follies (possibly in Florida) and in the chorus of the movie 42nd Street. Irma was to someone with the last name of Childs (possibly in Florida circa 1940) before she married my father Morris Barden.
Mary, Chari-found Norman in Battle Creek, Michigan. Found Mary "Foley" conlin in Kalamazoo, Mi. I am awaiting several more documents to begin finding Norman's relatives besides Mrs. Peter McGuire.
