Hi Listers, My dell gx280 wont boot and is giving me an unmounted boot volume error The O/S is XP Diagnostics show it as a Code 7, possible boot failure. I dont have the XP cd for that pc, however I used another disk to get into the recover console on the CD [there isn't one on the hard drive] I have managed to run Chkdsk which tells me there is a problem on the drive but I dont know what to type in to make it attempt to repair it. No matter what I have tried it tells me it is an incorrect command prompt Can someone give me what I have to type in exactly including spaces please?
