Too bad Peter Norton couldn't keep the quality up. DEM in Michigan

    3. DEM, I totally agree. In the early 1980's Peter Norton was my hero. Unfortunately, He sold out to Symantec in 1990. He was given a seat on their board, but, I don't think Peter was every involved in the code after that. Ever since then, Symantec have lived off Peter Nortons name, and their antivirus products have steadily got worse. In my opinion Symantec antivirus products are no longer of acceptable quality. Looking back over the years since the late 90's, I cannot remember a single clients computer that I DIDN'T have to take off nortons and install a decent antivirus product. I don't know if it's the same worldwide, but here in Ireland, every single new computer has got the stuff preinstalled.
