Check the settings in your copy program (SyncBack SE). I also assume that you have checked to see that the photos on the Laptop are okay ? Do you have a program to compare files? You could use this to do a comparison of the files on your Laptop to the folder on the EHD where you copied from the Laptop. I use a program called Beyond Compare, but it is not free.
