I have a problem with my Power Option Windows XP Home SP3. My preference is never on al three option Monitor-Hard Drive- System. I can change all three to never, save it etc. Later I can go back and they have changed. I created a scheme and named it new. Change all to never and applied. In no time they had changed themselves. What am I doing wrong. We have another XP computer that they all stay on never. Joe
Joe, You need to define the scheme and then save it. What you are doing is saving the current settings and then changing them. If you want them saved you will need to save them again.
