Hi Nivard, A few years ago I bought an Epson Stylus 7800 which said it could do negatives and slides. and film I believe. Well I was very disappointed in the quality of the scans when I printed them out. The negative I used was a brand new one and it turned out a bit fuzzy as was the slide, just not clear like it should have been. I had ordered the pictures and the negatives and they turned out fine so I did have something to compare it with. I'm sure that machine is obsolete now but with whatever you buy, try it out immediately and if not satisfied take it back. Unfortunately I didn't try it till much later. Did not think there would be any problems as my regular scans or pictures from emails came out beautiful and they still do. Nancy In a message dated 3/1/2012 5:33:34 P.M.
