To convert table to text: Open Document Click on the table, In Word 10, the TOOLBAR RIBBON pops up. Click on LAYOUT, then CONVERT TO TEXT (I tell it to use tabs if I want to make the columns line up or I use a ~ and then I can replace the ~ with whatever I want with FIND AND REPLACE) Another way you can do it is to select table (Control+A) and format the borders with no color, and they will be invisible.
