    3. I hope someone can explain to me how monitors are measured. I need a new one but all the sizes don't make any sense. I have an opening that is 20 1/2 " wide X 17 1/2 " high that the monitor has to fit in. I am looking at 2 different monitors one measures 20.1" wide And another one is 20.14" wide The height on both of them will fit it's the width I don't understand. Will either of them fit in the 20 1/2 opening? Barbara

    3. Measuring is done corner to corner diagonally. 3. Hi Barbara, I am a bit confused in that you are saying that you have a 20.5" width opening, but you have validated 2 monitors, each of which is less in width than 20.5. I assume that you mean that the SPECS for the 2 new monitors are â20.1" & 20.14" (which would be on the diagonal) . Regardless, you will either have to find manufacturer specs that tell you what the entire width of the monitor is OR you will need to physically measure them. This is due to the fact that size of bezels varies widely between makes. Regards, Kevin. ââ Sent from my BlackBerry 10 smartphone.
