Neither of mine have balls anymore either. The one with my computer works fine but the one with my laptop jumps all over the place and is a pain. Thought maybe cleaning might help since I have repeated adjusted the mouse in the computer but nothing helps, -----Original Message----- From: George Elting <justgeo1@comcast.net> To: computers <computers@rootsweb.com> Sent: Sat, Nov 16, 2013 10:05 pm Subject: Re: [COMPUTERS] COMPUTERS Digest, Vol 8, Issue 118 Mine is an optical mouse, so no ball... and when I had mice with balls, I always cleaned the ball and rollers... This is not a ball issue, it's more likely something with the scroll wheel and seems to be software related. -----Original Message----- From: computers-bounces@rootsweb.com [mailto:computers-bounces@rootsweb.com] On Behalf Of Dale Marshall Sent: Saturday, November 16, 2013 7:33 PM To: computers@rootsweb.com Subject: Re: [COMPUTERS] COMPUTERS Digest, Vol 8, Issue 118 Ever clean your mouse balls? If you have a mouse ball riding on 3 contacts or 3 rollers they accumulate fuzz & gunk. I have to clean mine every week or so. Dale in Michigan, USA =============== >Today's Topics: > > 1.
