    3. Hi Janet In the days when I needed to There is usually a counter clockwise retaining ring that holds the ball in place Remove that and the ball will fall out, giving access to the rollers which get a build up of fluff or gunk, I found a pair of tweezers to be the best, after doing it so many times I could do it in a couple of minutes If the gunk is really stubborn try a cotton bud and meths or nail varnish remover (sparingly) But as said I have used a wireless mouse for some years and don't get that problem, the problem I have at present, which appears to be shared by others is I think software or at least driver related Nivard Ovington in Cornwall (UK) On 17/11/2013 03:42, wstjs@aol.com wrote: > > What do you use to clean them? > > Janet >

    2. Hi Nivard, My problem is with my laptop and is both with the wireless mouse I have for it and the computer itself. Never had a problem with my other computer/computers or the attached mouse with them. Thanks for the cleaning instructions, I may need them for my other computer. As I was writing now the typing suddenly went up at your name. The pointer jumping to another place on the screen and contining to write is a typical problem I am having with this mouse. 3. Hi again Do you have the same problems with the touch pad? Or do you have that switched off ? It might be worth trying unplugging the mouse, and use the touch pad to navigate, try a few lines and see if the problem persists If it doesn't it tells you the mouse is the likely cause Nivard Ovington in Cornwall (UK) On 17/11/2013 16:23, wstjs@aol.com wrote: > > Hi Nivard, > > My problem is with my laptop and is both with the wireless mouse I have for it and the computer itself. 2. Nivard, The touch pad is worse. I bought the mouse, which is not attached by wire to try to overcome the problem but that is not much better.
