    3. Hi ?? Have you tried swapping the two mice over and see if they react the same on their opposite number ? It may just be a faulty rodent I used a previous optical mouse for some years and it started acting up after about four or five years, nothing I could do would fix it so replaced it with my present one, this has worked perfectly until this last month or so, I thought it was the mouse giving up the ghost but others are reporting the same problem using different types of mouse So I suspect a software or driver problem Some bright spark at microsoft may have "fixed" something without checking the repercussions Nivard Ovington in Cornwall (UK) On 17/11/2013 05:13, wstjs@aol.com wrote: > > Neither of mine have balls anymore either. 2. Hi Nivard, I have thought it was a microsoft problem since I have had it ever since I bought this laptop. I then bought a separate mouse to use with it and the problem continues with the mouse. Several years ago when the mouse on my other computer began to act up and not work properly I bought a new mouse and that corrected the problem. I don't want to buy a new laptop, this one is only a few years old. Thanks for your suggestions, they have helped. 3. If you have 2 wireless mice in close proximity they may be causing the problem. Shut off one of them if there is no shut off switch remove the battery of one and see if it corrects the problem -----Original Message----- From: computers-bounces@rootsweb.com [mailto:computers-bounces@rootsweb.com] On Behalf Of wstjs@aol.com Sent: Sunday, November 17, 2013 8:29 AM To: computers@rootsweb.com Subject: Re: [COMPUTERS] COMPUTERS Digest, Vol 8, Issue 118 Hi Nivard, I have thought it was a microsoft problem since I have had it ever since I bought this laptop.
