Thanks Myra.I have been using Heritage Quest through the local library lately. It has a the census but a couple of years. In fact the they have the 1940 indexed by each individual now. Since I am still on dialup, it is much faster than Ancestry.com. Thanks for the offer and I will keep it in mind. Don't forget that familysearch.org is free and has a lot of stuff that isn't on ancestry as well. myra
