CERT/CC Vulnerability Note VU#732479 has been published with further details about the vulnerability. US-CERT recommends users protect themselves against this exploit by using Microsoft's EMET utility, upgrading to Internet Explorer 11, or using an unaffected alternative web browser until a patch is released.     3. My 2 Cent suggestion, from years working in IT, is to use an alternate browser. Firefox and Chrome are what I use, with great success. IE is so far off my radar and has been for many, many years. For Web Designers, IE is a big issue as Microsoft has never kept to Web Standards‎.
