I use a web based program for my email. I know in the past that you had to train your PC program to recognize +s--p-- a++m. Do you have to do the same for a web based program, if so does it recognize the +s--p-- a++m by the content or the address? I guess what I'm trying to say is when I receive an email from someone that has been ha-cked and mark it as +s--p-- a++m, will it always recognize that address and but in junk or go by the content of the email? -- Donna in north eastern, Indiana, USA
Hi Donna Try gmail instead and you rarely even have to think about spam I have never marked anything as spam, nor do I need to Once in a while one creeps through but its rare I check gmails spam folder once a month or so and on a rare occasion I may find a legitimate message in there, I mark it as not spam and its returned to the inbox IMHO if you are wasting time training your spam filters, you are using the wrong emailer Nivard Ovington in Cornwall (UK) On 25/02/2014 14:07, Donna wrote: > I use a web based program for my email. I was wondering that when it shows up my junk folder if I mark it as +s--p-- a++m, is the program learning that the content of the email is bad or the address will be flagged in the future. -- Donna in north eastern, Indiana, USA
Starting today I get the following error: Secure connection failed www.mozilla.org uses an invalid security certificate. Using Thunderbird mail and Windows 8. earlier today I uninstalled Avira and installed Avast. While downloading Avast I got several unwanted items which I uninstalled through the control panel. I tried posting to the thunderbird site but it wouldn't post. It appears others have had the same problem but I wasn't able to find a solution. Thanks in advance, Mary-- BTW I am still receiving my mail, but seeing that error message every time worries me. --- This email is free from viruses and malware because avast!
