I open a particular folder on my desktop eacg day whch has a number of files in it that I acess daily. Today when I opened that folder there were no files in it...I use them almost exclusive of other files for research on health issues and I almost panicked - what happened to all my files? I tried opening My Documents within the folder and it did bring up the files, but the file titles looked like this: Cancer%20%20fighting%20food-herbs.rtf._0.odt. Most of these misnamed files in the My Documents folder are the health files I add to almost each day but there were a few others that showed up within My Documents also. Does anyone know why the titles are changed like this and if there is something i can remedy it with, like just renaming the files? I am using a mini inspiron netbook which up to now has worked fine.. I just read a notice from Microsoft that they are no longer (after April 7) going to support Windows XP, which is what I have. Any suggestions or ideas on these 2 issues will be very much appreciated (since I am technological challenged). Thank you, Joan -- Each time
