Hi Can someone on the list please help me. I subscribed to an on-line organisation "Greasy Palm" which pays money back when you buy using the internet through their site. I have tried to remove their "rebate catcher" ,a small programme which reminds you if you are looking at the web site of a retailer who subscribes to the Greasy Palm organisation, from my computer using "uninstall" in the control panel. Whenever I try to uninstall I get the message, "installation log not found" and cannot remove it. I have sent numerous emails to Greasy Palm asking how to remove rebate catcher but have never had a reply. I can live with this, as rebate catcher no longer works but recently when I try to use some links to web sites I am getting the web site http://www.greasypalm.co.uk/r/c.php?http://scripts.affiliatefuture.com/AFClick.asp?affiliateID=4926&merchantID=3291&programmeID=8841&mediaID=0&tracking=845334 in my browser's address bar which gives me, the message "please click to continue" in the middle of my screen, that is redirecting me to Amazon's web site. I am finding this hijacking of my computer extremely annoying, as I can't get the links to work. Can someone please give me very simple step by step instructions on how to get rid of it. I am using Windows Vista Home Premium OS. Cheers Jill Sheffield UK
