    3. I also use AVG, and I found that with Ver 8.5, there was a recent addition that added a new Toolbar on both IE and Firefox, called the AVG Security Toolbar. It has a Yahoo Search box on it, that is separate from the Navigation toolbar. You can set Google to be your search engine in the Navigation toolbar, but not in the AVG toolbar, but which one you use is up to you. At the top of the Firefox screen, lick on the View button (File, Edit, View, ...) and then click on Toolbars. It will show you the four toolbars, and allow you to turn any of them on or off. Hope that works. Bill R > Hi Budscan, > > You are absolutely right about checking carefully what you're > signoing up for. 3. I accidently deleted my Google toolbar when I was trying to delete that AVG toolbar that makes Yahoo my default search engine (careless, I know!). I have tried to download the Google toolbar and it downloads but it won't install. I get this message: "Google Toolbar Installer has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience." Happens every time I try. I suspect that there's something already on my hard drive that prevents its installation, just like there was a remnant of Ancestry's Enhanced Image Viewer that had to be removed before it would install--and what a lot of steps that took. Any ideas about how I can get Google back?
