I have "Email for Life" from the Alumni Association of a university. I registered with them & picked a "user name" @tulanealumni.net. Everytime I change my "main" email address I notify them and in a couple of weeks my mail from mostly classmates & former students come to the new address. I use it as a secondary "permanent" address so people knew they could reach me through it. It had been my primary address but the mail forwarding computer was down for six weeks after Hurricane Katrina & I never started switching people back. Sometime there is an extra half hour delay for mail to arrive. But, for the rest of my life I will be able to get email as paulleblanc@tulanealumni.net . It might be worth looking into.
