    3. Hi Lynne, I apologize, I don't mean to be belligerent. I am simply speaking from the experience of having been the victim of a virus and hope to avoid this event happening to others. I posted the links for WAREZ and for TROJANS and hope they will be useful in understanding these terms. There are many, many sites like those you posted which deal in distributing "free" software. They want to deliver a distinctly different payload, however... viruses and trojans. I use Avast Anti-Virus and have enables their "Web Shield" which scans all of the content downloaded to your computer from each and every Web Site that you visit. I can assure you that the softmann....... site you directed us to does indeed try to download a Trojan to your system and then redirects you to a sex site and another cracked software site. I am only saying all of this to warn people and to remind everyone that, unless software is marketed as Freeware or Shareware, it is not FREE and if you find software that is FREE but normally sells for a price that this should raise red flags... That is just my two cents and I will now put this to rest... Regards, Kevin.
