Hi Lila, I think I am misunderstanding you problem.  I had a look at the file you sent and had no problems entering an "O umlaut" using Alt+0214. I'm typing Alt + 0214, and it worked where Elisabeth Öhm is entered, but it won't show the umlaut on the line where Valentin Öhm is entered, just shows the plain O. It shows on print preview, however. I will print it to Adobe and see if it shows. I want to share the doc with a number of people. I had no trouble entering the Ö anywhere else in the doc.
