Hi Kevin, Thank you for the help and the links. I've decided to go with the `if it's not broken, dont fix it' approach and have downloaded the IE8 blocker, which now that I've rebooted, does seem to be working. According to the Microsoft site I can manually download IE8 at any time if I decide I want to use it, so that seems the best of both worlds. For now IE7 works fine and I also have Firefox installed although I dont use it much.
