I have a folder of pictures for which I would like to print out a list of the names. I have found how to get the list format but not how to print it. What am I doing wrong? I did this once and if I asked before I apologize for not remembering. Thanks for any help.

There are programs, including free ones, that will do it for you. But if you want to do it manually, open a command prompt window, go to the directory you have the files in, and type in dir>"filename.txt", where "filename" is what you want to call the list (without the ""). Then, open THAT in notepad or wordpad, and print it.
Joe Download Print Folder. It will print the list you want. After installation, it appears in the the menu when you right-click on a folder. It is free. http://www.snapfiles.com/get/printfolder.html Bob Wilson ----- Original Message ----- From: Joenoro@wmconnect.com To: computers@rootsweb.com Sent: Saturday, September 12, 2009 8:35 AM Subject: [COMPUTERS] Printing list I have a folder of pictures for which I would like to print out a list of the names.
