Suddenly my Internet Explorer has started to freeze on a regular basis and sometimes I have to switch the pc off. "Sometimes there is a popup which says "Internet Explorer has encountered a problem and is disconnecting." I am using Vista. What could be the problem please? Peter
Hi Peter, I also have a laptop with Vista and IE has been doing this since I got it. I would find all kinds of hints and "fixes", none of which worked. I finally installed Firefox as my browser and no problems at all now. It was very frustrating. Mine started doing the same thing AFTER I downloaded IE 8. My screens would freeze and I'd have to "end task" to get out of Internet. Loading images was waaaaay slow. I have XP and with IE7 had no problems. I've also been using Firefox since downloading IE8. However, I've had no problems this past week with IE8. So....don't know what's been fixed. Hello Folks, My daughter tells me that her computer keeps getting slower and slower. (Dell). She sees these two grey boxes pop up and wonders what they are and how to get rid of them. One says sprtcmd.exe and the other says DSAgnt.exe . Any ideas what these are and how to fix them? Thanks, Nancy in Minnesota
