Listers, There may not be a way to mend my mistake, but I have every confidence that someone on this list will know if it's possible!! I was taking pictures with my digital camera, and somehow accidently pushed the pointer to the video function. Instead of a .jpg, I have an .avi. It is a page of a church record. The book was too fragile to place on the glass of a copier. Incidentally, the other two pages that I photographed, using the correct function, are fairly legible. Can anyone help? Lila

Since the .jpg's are only fairly legible but= not perfectly clear=2C and the consensus seems to be that much clarity wil= l be lost in conversion=2C I doubt it's worth my time trying (I'm not very = skilled) to convert them.
