I am a subscriber to "Uncle Reboot's PC Confidential" and he said one of the negatives about IE8 is that it slows your pc down. But I suppose it would depend on how good your pc is though he never said. Peter

I find that IE7 can be obnoxiously slow as well. I am running WinXP SP3.
