Well...I don't know the answer to your first question. In my ignorance, I guess I thought 8 would override 7. I accessed this Website before the download: http://www.archive.org/stream/historyofhenryfu00aldr and now I get to the page, but nothing but the headers load. On the left is a "view the book" option, and before IE8 it just popped up, with a search blank, and I could find William using the search blank provided. I may be able to view it in PDF and that may even be more satisfactory, but it was so easy the day before yesterday.
