    3. Have any of you people having problems recently installed Foxit or the Foxit Toolbar (which is actually the Ask Toolbar). I did and that is when my problems started. I could not type in urls in Firefox without going to a different url. Bookmarks seemed to work ok. In IE, I would get "cannot display web page" error. I uninstalled Foxit and the toolbar and the problem went away. From Googling, I think the toolbar was the problem. The only way he can get back on the net is : by reset the modem, restarting, etc. Thanks. : : : ----- Original Message ----- : From: Vanessa Stern : : : Have you tried another browser, such as Firefox, to see if he has the : same problems? : : Vanessa : : : : : ::-~:-~:-~:-~:-~:-~:-~:-~:-~:-~: : : If it's not immediately apparent, be sure to mention how your query relates to family research. : : Please don't post promotions of commercial products or services, and avoid mentioning prices. : ::-~:-~:-~:-~:-~:-~:-~:-~:-~:-~: : : : : : ------------------------------- : To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to COMPUTERS-request@rootsweb.com with the word 'unsubscribe' without the quotes in the subject and the body of the message :
