THAT installs an extra level of security a virii and trojans do NOT ever get on your system, MW allows you to delete them directly from the mail server. After checking mail with MW, you can mark for deletion anything you don't want, AND MW will let you know if a message has an attachment, and MW also allows you to use a 'blacklist' of theirs to mark probable spam. Just do NOT EVER use the 'bounce' function.
Hi Bud? But I get that without having to go to somewhere else to check the mail that I want to download, why add more work? Whatever I download to OE I can see the size of, if it has an attachment and who from etc, subject lines are often very poor indicators of the content of the mail so I check each mail and delete or not as the case may be, reply to those I want to and continue, it would drive me round the bend to have to keep going to MW to see whats arrived I still cannot see any point in using it, gmails spam filters seem to be set just about right as far as I can see Best wishes Nivard Ovington, in Cornwall (UK) > MailWasher checks your mail WITHOUT actually downloading it onto your > computer. > > THAT installs an extra level of security a virii and trojans do NOT ever > get on your system, > MW allows you to delete them directly from the mail server. > > After checking mail with MW, you can mark for deletion anything you don't > want, > AND MW will let you know if a message has an attachment, and MW also > allows you > to use a 'blacklist' of theirs to mark probable spam. > > Just do NOT EVER use the 'bounce' function.
