I have Googled for this information, but am still somewhat confused and would appreciate some actual experience here. I want to buy a wired/wireless router for the house. I currently have 3 computers hooked up to a wired router and want to keep that set-up with the new router. I currently plan to use an iPod Touch and a new laptop with the wireless. The router must be located in a far corner of the basement. I have no choice. A kid at BestBuy said the wireless-G probably would not work well in the basement and that wireless-N would be better, but I'd have to make sure the wireless devices were compatible with Wireless-N. I have read about antennas and boosters. Need advice. Vanessa Stern
