What has probably happened, is that you have a system on which no temporary files have ever been deleted, so there are MANY of them. I have seen some systems take hours to delete Internet Explorer's Temporary Internet Files. Your settings for IE Temporary Internet File saving are probably very high, as well. Do you use Internet Explorer to browse the Internet? If so... what version ?
