    3. Good Morning! I just purchased a new desktop computer. I want to transfer everything from the old XP to a new XP. This will include my Internet Connection (which I am the most concerned about), and of course all of my old Genealogy files. Is there some way the 2 computers can be connected, and this be done? Thanks, Janet

    3. Hi Janet, There is a feature in XP calls Files and settings transfer which would be found under Accessory - System Tools. I think that may do what you want to do. r ________________________________ From: Janet <jjc@gvtc.com> To: computers@rootsweb.com Sent: Tuesday, 19 May, 2009 16:41:19 Subject: [COMPUTERS] Move All Data from Old XP to new XP Computer Good Morning! 3. Hi Janet, Are both PCs running the same operating systems? How are you connecting to the Internet (Cable Modem, Dial Up...) When you say "everything" do you mean all DATA? You can definitely copy the data from one PC to the other, but, programs will need to be re-installed on the new computer. Regards, Kevin.
