I have scanned my grandfather's autobiography. Is there a way to put that photo into a text document that can be opened with Word? Scanning the document to OCR did not work. Thanks, Dottie
sure...easiest way is to put the image on your desktop. Right click on it and choose 'copy' . Then paste it into a Word doc. I do that and then add a text box in which I can put details about the image...people, time frame, location....stuff that's not readily identifiable by looking at the image. For your autobiography you could put the publication information, or who compiled it...based on what resources, etc. Jayne Madison, WI ----- Original Message ----- From: Dottie Davis ...Is there a way to put that photo into a text document that can be opened with Word...
Hi Dottie, You can insert each scanned page of the autobiography into a Word Document by using the following menu path in MS Word... Insert >> Picture >> From File... Regards, Kevin.
