It's an icon named THUMBS, and has a little decoration of 2 little gears overlapping, the upper left one green, the lower right one light orange. When I click on it, it says: Caution You are attempting to open a file of type 'Data Bse File' (.db) These files are used by the operating system and by various programs. Editing of modifying them coud damage your system. If you still want to open the file, click Open With, otherwise, click Cancel. Then there are the Open With... and Cancel buttons on the bottom Can anyone tell me why I'm seeing this in my folders? I've been deleting them, but when I look in my Recycle bin, they are not always there. Sometimes they are. myra herron :-~:-~:-~:-~:-~:-~:-~:-~:-~:-~: If it's not immediately apparent, be sure to mention how your query relates to family research.
