I have Windows XP Home, and HP psc2210 all-in-one. When I scan a document to "Word" and save it in "My Documents" I then cannot copy and paste from that scanned/filed document. The file is NOT marked "read only". Does anyone know how to be able to edit/copy and paste from that filled document? I would really appreciate any help. I have asked HP but haven't heard from the yet...and I really need to do a little work on a few documents. Thanks for any help. Beth B

You may have the option to scan either documents or photographs and may be able to switch to documents. That doesn't guarantee they'll be saved as Word docs -- mine saves as PDFs -- but at least you'll have text. HTH Lynne
