    1. Re: [COMPUTERS] How to make inserted text retain original formatting in Word 2007

    3. I suppose this will be too complicated, but here goes... I have a BIG requirement to paste "unformatted text" into many applications. I used to copy and then paste into Notepad (which strips out any formatting) and then copy from Notepad to the final destination. But this was cumbersome and took too much time. I have found a little program call PureText which runs when I boot up my computer each day. This program allows me to do a copy (Ctrl + C) and then Paste using the PureText Paste Key Combination (<Windows Key> + V). It is quick and easy to get used to and saves a lot of time if you need to do this sort of thing. Not sure if this would solve your problem, Judith, but I thought I would give it a try !!! 3. Hi Kevin, Thank you. I have downloaded it and will give it a try as I have also done a lot of the save to notepad and copy and paste stuff. I've had three different suggestions all of which worked so it has been really helpful.
