Personally, I would turn off System Restore. it causes more problems and confusions than it is worth. If you turn it off, it will delete all past restore points and free up valuable space on your hard drive. It is much better to be vigilant about what is put on your system and scan, scan, scan !!! I am a computer professional and have never even come close to needing System Restore. My 2 cents ! Regards, Kevin.
