It doesn't effect what I'm doing so perhaps it's the monitor with the problem but that's less than a year old and the problem only started when I bought the pc. I think it is very slowly getting worse. Any advice please? Hi Peter It doesn't sound like a problem to me. Is it your first Microsoft Vista PC ? If so, are you always faced with a dialogue box immediately after the screen has momentarily gone blank ? When you ask a program to do something, Vista will often cut in - for security purposes - and ask you do you really want the program to do something ! That might well be what you are experiencing. It is my first vista pc but I'm sure that's not the problem as it happens when I'm just doing word processing. Peter > Hi Peter > > It doesn't sound like a problem to me. My sister has somehow got a program on her laptop called Personal Antivirus which, according to a website, is regularly telling her in popups she has bogus trojans and she needs to purchase the program to get rid of them. I have tried to delete this program but cannot find it in the Programs list or anywhere. Can anyone help please? Thanks Peter
