    3. I've changed to hotmail for e-mail. When I get something with a .wmv extension, for example, it downloads into "Temporary Folder." I used to know how to go to Temporary Folder and delete its contents, but I've forgotten how to do that. Can anyone help? Thanks, Lila

    3. Hi Lila, If you are using Internet Explorer you can use the following procedure to delete the files... http://support.microsoft.com/kb/260897 If you want to actually go to the folder where these Temporary Items are stored, you can find them here... Start Windows Explorer... Go to the following location... C:\Documents and Settings\<< Your User Name >>\Local Settings You will find two folders called... "Temporary Internet Files" and "Temp" The "Temporary Internet Files" folder will be cleared if you follow the instructions, above, from Microsoft The "Temp" folder, however, is a bit different. You can select and delete all of the contents of the Folder (don't delete the folder itself), but some files may not allow deletion, as they are still open... just skip them. I suggest downloading and installing a program called CCleaner to handle this chore automatically. If you need help with it, please ask. I have suggested this program before on this list. http://www.ccleaner.com/ Regards, Kevin.
