I have a Dell laptop Inspiron E1505 running Microsoft, IE and always used standby if I had to leave for an hour or more and when I get back to the computer it won't come back on. Sometimes I can reclose the top and reopen and it will come back on sometimes I have to hold the power button down and start all over. In Control Panel under Power I have it checked to go to standby when I close the top and until this week that worked fine. I have also tried going to Start and when the choice comes up to Standby, Turn off, or Restart I click Standby, wait for it to finish 'preparing to standby' then close the top and that doesn't work either. Any one know what I should do? Bobbie
