Hi Beth, 2 Questions... 1. Do you need to copy/paste portions of the scanned document? - if so, you can use a "screen capture" type of software. I use a program called Snag-It, but you need to pay for this. That said, I do feel it is worth every penny. You can find some free alternatives here... http://www.techsupportalert.com/best-free-screen-capture-utility.htm 2. Do you need to copy text from the scanned document so it is available for you to paste into another application ? - if so... then you will need the OCR software that Nivard mentioned... it is software that, most likely, came with your HP All-In-One Regards, Kevin. Sorry, hit the wrong thing. Sent to early. My question is about flash drives. If you have a flash drive full with things you don't need anymore, can you empty them, or erase them and reuse them, if so how do you do this? I have a full flash drive but no longer want the information on it and would like to be able to reuse it with new info. Thanks in advance Bobbie
