Can any one suggest how to overcome this problem? I can't subscribe to the Gloucestershire List. GLOUCESTER-L-request@rootsweb.com I am experiences in subscribing to lists so I am sure I am not at fault. I have tried three times and even cut and pasted from Roots web page. It is reasonable to wait 24 hours before becoming concerned about a subscription request - at which stage writing to the List Admin - listname-admin@rootsweb.com should be your next approach. I'm the GLS List Admin, and usually approve subscription requests within an hour or so. I've now subscribed you to the list - welcome on board! Wendy
