I am running Windows XP SP3 and have Nero 8 Essentials (which came with printer) In the past, I have been able to create a slideshow using Microsoft Photo Story 3 and burn it to a DVD which has always been playable on my DVD Player. Perhaps this 83 year old brain is becoming befuddled, as I can now only create a slideshow DVD which will play on my computer but not on my DVD player. I`m doing something wrong somewhere, and am hoping some clever person on the List can "put me right". Ken Smart.
Have you switched brands or types of your DVD media (DVD +R, DVD -R)? Some DVD players are picky about what media they'll read. --- On Wed, 4/1/09, Ken Smart <ksmart1@optusnet.com.au> wrote: > From: Ken Smart <ksmart1@optusnet.com.au> > Subject: [COMPUTERS] Creating DVD Slideshow > To: COMPUTERS-L@rootsweb.com > Date: Wednesday, April 1, 2009, 8:36 PM > I am running Windows XP SP3 and have Nero 8 Essentials > (which came with > printer) > > In the past, I have been able to create a slideshow using > Microsoft Photo > Story 3 and burn it to a DVD which has always been playable > on my DVD > Player. > > Perhaps this 83 year old brain is becoming befuddled, as I > can now only > create a slideshow DVD which will play on my computer but > not on my DVD > player.
