I am running Presario Laptop, Vista Home Premium. I do not turn the computer off every night. Again, this morning, I opened the lid, the Start Button was on, but hard drive and Internet Adapter, and Screen would not light up. I have to push the Start Button to hard boot, (which I do not like to do), and "usually" everything will boot up ~ some time it will not. I have checked my configuration, and I do not have the Sleep Button configured. Do you think my Start Up might be hidden and it is not being read? I really need some help ~ keeping me from working on my Genealogy. Thanks, Janet

Hi Janet, Have you checked your Power Options in the Control Panel ? Something may be configured improperly there ?!?!? Regards, Kevin.
