    3. Barb, I just finished a manual download of KB956572. I burned it to a CD and tried to install in on my wife's computer. A window came up saying "file is corrupt". The problem is the file not you or your computer.     3. With all due respect, if that was the case then nobody would be able to install this update successfully. No... I think it is definitely a problem with the update, but it fails only when certain parameters exist in the user's system. This is why I suggest the call to Microsoft, as they will be able to assist in the installation and they know what to look for in the user's system. Regards, Kevin.
