Hi Nirvard, Thanks for your suggestion, unfortunately I have discovered that it is not an option in 2007 apparently. I have since discovered a freeware floating toolbar which docks to the side of my monitor is doing the job nicely. I hadn't realised how much I relied on the office tool bar until it disappeared!
