    3. Hi, I have basic anti-virus protection from CA Security which is soon to be renewed. Lately I have been receiving a lot of SPAM - I need some help in stopping this - but, some genuine emails sometimes have 'SUSPECTED SPAM' in the subject line - eg - Findmy Past - I would prefer to download a free protection program - any advice or help really appreciated. I realize that I can purchase anti-spam from CA Security but the costs are becoming huge. many thanks Annette WATSON Lismore Australia

I don't think you'll find a free anti-virus program that also handles spam, but you can create an email filter to delete that labeled spam. AND you can get an email address on GMail, and get almost all your spam filtered out, and that IS free. One thing that's possible and doesn't require you to change your email address is to forward all your mail to a gmail address, then forward it back to your existing address.
