    3. Hi David, Thank you for the input. I did know the difference and I have previously downloaded Acronis True Image and tried it and although it is supposed to be simple to use I couldn't make head nor tail of it. At which point I went back to System Restore and started using Sync Toy to back up my data to an external hard drive. Not sure which way to go at the moment. Kevin has given me some alternatives to True Image but it is still drive imaging which defeated me last time. I guess I will have to download one and have another try.
