The only caveat is that the updates are very large files and probably include ALL Vrus Definitions whereas, if you are connected to the Internet and are updating on a daily basis, you would probably receive incremental updates. http://free.avg.com/download-update I hope you are using AVG v8.5.x, as version 7.5 support had been discontinued as of April 30 2009.
