Hi Judith, If the second PC is not connected to the internet, how is it going to get infected? Well, maybe from your flash drive, but if it's getting scanned in PC1, then you shouldn't have a problem. I'm not sure why you need virus protection at all. But for a 'sortof' answer, anyway... Uninstall AVG from PC2, download the latest version onto your flashdrive via PC1 and then load it from the flash drive onto PC2. There's bound to be someone who knows how to get the definition files though. Hi Robyn, Thanks for the info. One of my grandchildren was telling me this week that her TAFE had a number of pc's crash through files downloaded to students flash drives. My second pc used to be connected to the net through dial up at one time hence the reason I still have AVG on there. The family use flash drives a lot so I thought it might be good to up date it and be sure rather than sorry.
