FTM 2010 installation requires the installation of Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 SP1. The installation fails because an error occurs. The error says it wouldn't install because I didn't have .NET version 2.0a installed. What is .NET version 2.0a? I couldn't find anywhere it could be downloaded. Microsoft .NET Framework is part of Windows. If you've been allowing Windows to update itself, you should have it already installed. If you have not been allowing Windows to update itself, you may not have it. Try clicking Microsoft Update from your Programs menu to see if it is offered as an update.
